CITY OF EVERETT - HOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> MINUTES <br /> May 7, 1979 <br /> Mrs. Jean Pedigo of SB12 Cady Road had no objection to the granting <br /> of the variance as other properties in the area have garagea close <br /> to their property lines. Also, Mr. McAlister maintains his yard and <br /> buildings will be an asaet to the neighborhood. <br /> Mr. Joe Armitage of 5820 Cady Road was opposed to the granting of <br /> the variance for the following reasons: <br /> 1. His property is going to be developed into a duplex. <br /> 2. The road to the duplex will go alongside the proposed <br /> garage. <br /> 3. Nine (9) inches is not enough room for maintenance, and <br /> he is doubtful that there is as much as nine (9) inches <br /> to the property line. <br /> After visually viewing the subject property and considering all <br /> the fact3 and testimony, it was moved by Mr. 2ook, seconded by <br /> Mr. Wilson and unanimously carried to grant the applicant's request, <br /> as it meets all the requirements of Section 19. 60. 070 of the Everett <br /> Municipal Code, pargraphs 1, 2, 3, & 4. <br /> It was also noted at this time that a variance was previously granted <br /> to Mr. McAlister, and there has been no substantial change made in <br /> the facts that were previously submitted and granted. <br /> A hearing was held on the application of Mike Mootz, 1613 Baker, <br /> L'verett , Washington 90201 for a variance from Section 19. 16. 050 <br /> of the Everett Municipal Code, Yard Requirements, Paragraph C for <br /> F��rmission to construct a garage and ile able to build to within <br /> t:rn (10) feet of the rear property line rather than the code require- <br /> ment of twenty (20) feet. <br /> Irqal Description : T,or.s 7 � 8, Bl.ock 331, Plat of Everett Div.
