Close in the exterior side with 5/8" <br /> T-111 (no shop grade) over 1/2" CDX plywood sheathing. <br /> T-111 to :iave verlical grooves 8" apart. Add R-11 batt <br /> insulation in new wall cavities. Wire in two new duplex <br /> electrical receptacles in wall , one at each end. Close <br /> in wall with 1/2" G.W.B. , tape and spackle smooth, owner <br /> to wallpaper wall later. Add matching base along the <br /> new wall and tie into existing. Finish off jointa where <br /> new wall meets the adjoining ceiling and walls. <br /> Build new wood window frame and sill and trim out with <br /> wood exlerior casing, all �o match the appearance of th� <br /> house front windows. Run metal flashing under siding <br /> and out over head casing and caulk where siding butts <br /> casing. Stop in owner 's large insula�ed raw unit. <br /> Finish off the interior side of window to match the <br /> other windows. <br /> Paint the exterior side of the front wall and window <br /> frame and trim to match the rest of the house. First <br /> coat to be an oil base primer for wood with a final coat <br /> of paint to maCch �he finish houae paint. <br /> All work in thia item to be performed in compliance with <br /> the requirements of the Uniform Building Code, 1985 <br /> edition and also the Washington State Department of <br /> Labor and IndusCry requirements for handling asbeatos. <br /> S <br /> 3. Heating System Repairs Reconnect the return air di�ct <br /> in the house crawl. Adjusl the duct to make sure it <br /> bypaesea the old underfloor furnace and also that it <br /> doee not draw air from the crawl epace. Reconnect the <br /> Elexible supply duct to the metal duct aork, running new <br /> duct as necessary from the furnace over and fastening <br /> properly to disperse the heat evenly throughout the <br /> house.
