These comments <br /> address building issues only, additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments <br /> (such as Utilides, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1991 Uniform Buiiding Code, as <br /> amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1991, 2nd Fdition, unless <br /> stated otherw�se. <br /> 1. Provide 110 volt smoke detectors with battery back-up in all sleeping rooms and in the <br /> corridor or area giving access to each separate sleeping area• Detectors shall emit a signal <br /> when batteries are low/1210 U.B.C. <br /> 2, Provide a self-closing tight-fitting solid wood door l-3/S inches in thickness, or a self closing <br /> tight-fitdng door having a fire-protection rating of not less than 20 minutes between the <br /> garage and dwelling. <br /> 3.
