All references refer to the 1997Uniform Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1997Edition, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. 1. Regarding item N3 from the previous letter. Some of the floor/ceiling assemblies on sheets A10 and A23 are indicating 'h" gwb. For this to work, the remaining elements of the assembly must also comply with item 13 - 1.4, Table 7C. In this case the �k" plywood decking does not meet the requirements for the doubie wood floor. This applies to all floor/cciling assemblies, whether between units or not. The exterior wall sections of sheets A10 & A23 indicate 'fi" gyp. sheathing. This would need to work in conjunction with �" drop siding. Is �i" drop siding specified? These sections also indicate �fz" gwb on the inside. This alone cannot act as "a surface treatment as required for one-hour-rated" partitions. 2. Regarding item MS of the previous letter. The UDC reference should be 713.11.4 instead of 1006.3.3.3.
