Sox 349, Santa Monica, CA. 98406, for a variance from Section 19.16.040 of the �verett Municipal Code, Yard Requirements, Paragraph A for permission to allow a multiple residence to be constructed to within sixteen (16) feet from the front ten (10) foot easement line rather than the code requirement of twenty (20) feet from the easement line. ' Also to allow alternatfng stairs of IIuilding D (pazallel to Casino Road) to be nine (9) feet from the front ten (10) foot easement line rather than the code requirement of twenty (20) feet from the easement line. There is easement line confusion and he would like to know where the setbar_k line really is. Celia Strong from thr i�ublic Works Department had the following � statementa to make: 1. The City requires a ten (10) foot deed on each side of the road for road improvement. flowever, a ten (10) foot easement for iatreet purposes has been accepted rather than a deed but 'the easement serves the same purpose. 2. The setback is figured from the North line of the easement. 3. The ordinance for road improvement was passed in October of 1978 and stated that the setbacka shall be from the easement . � line�. I
