Definitions: <br /> 1. Compliancc Submittals include shop drawings, product data, and samplcs <br /> which are prepared by the Contracror, subcontractor, manufacturer, or <br /> supplier and submitted by the Contractor to the Owner'a Authoriuu <br /> Representative as a basis for approval of the use of equipment and materials <br /> proposed for incorporation in the work or needed to describe installation, <br /> operation, maintenance or technicat properties. <br /> a. Shop drawings include custom-prepared data o(all types including <br /> drewings, diagrams, performance curves, material schedules, <br /> templates, instructions, and similer infortnation not in standard printed <br /> form appiicable to other projects. <br /> b. Product data includes standard printed info�mation on materials, <br /> products and syatems; not custom-prepared for thia proJect, other than <br /> the designation of selections from available choices. <br /> c. Samples include both fabricated and unfabricated phyaical examples of <br /> materials, products and work; both as complete units and as amaller <br /> portions of unita of work; either for limited visual inspection or <br /> (whero indicated) for morc detailed testing and analysis. <br /> 2. Miaallaneous Submittals aro those txhnical reports, administntive <br /> subminals, cettificata and guarantces, not defined as shop drawings, product <br /> data or �amples. <br /> a. Txhnical reports include leboratory rcports, tests, technical <br /> procedures, technical records, and Contracror's design analysis. <br /> b. . Administrative submittals are those nontechnical submittals required <br /> , by the Contract Documenta or damed necessaty for adm3nistrative <br /> records.
