General: Fumish all tr�ckwork materials and inciduntal materials required tor the conatruction oi <br /> track. <br /> PART 3--EXECUTION <br /> 3.1 CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT <br /> A. Track gauge, guard rail, flsr�geway widlh, curve radii, reil aedions, and special trackwork <br /> components ere designed for freight rail operalion. Modify on-treck equipment, ea required, to <br /> operate over this track wilhout causing damage to the track structure. Damegea to the ireck <br /> struclure shall be repaired by the Contrador at its expense. <br /> B. Clearence tor the on-track equipment ehall conlorm to the requirements lor vehicle clearances. <br /> C. Contrector's equipmenl shall not exceed the design loeda. <br /> D. The Contractor ehall submit construction equipment dete lor on-track conatruction equipment <br /> showing complianca with wheel contour,gauge,and clearance requirements. <br /> 3.2 ALIGNMENT DATA <br /> A. Alignment infortnation shown on the Cantred Drewinps refers to geometric control pointa for the <br /> track. <br /> 8. Engineering stetioning is used to reference geometric control points. Independent stationing will be <br /> used for each track. <br /> C. Mathematized alignment dala for each track is included on the Conlract Drewings. <br /> 33 TRACK GEOMETRY <br /> A. Conslruct track to confortn to the alignment and profile date as specified herein,and as indicated on <br /> lhe Contract Drawings. <br /> 8. For tangent track the alignmenl is based on each cenlerline oi track,equidistanl between the gauge <br /> sides of the running rails. <br /> C For curved lrack,the alignmenl is based on lhe centedine ol lrack with the oulside rad located 2 feet <br /> 4-114 inches radial from the centerline measured at lhe gauge line of the reils. <br /> D Measure track gauge as specified herein for Gauge, Treck in AAicle 1 A2, Definit�ons <br /> 1 Tangenl and curved lrack gauge shall be 41eet 8-1/2 inches. <br /> 2 Special lrackwork lrack gauge shall be as indicaled on the Conlract Drawings <br /> Permit Set 34 11 10- 5 <br /> September 23. 2011 <br />
