An overflow outlet is provided by the 18-inch diameter <br />riser pipe. The riser pipe is open at the top and has an <br />invert elevation 3.0 feet from the bottom of the <br />temporary storage cell. Should the water surface <br />elevation in the pond exceed the design head of 3.0 feet, <br />this overflow orifice would accommodate approximately <br />8.8 CFS of additional flow. A rock lined, open channel <br />emergency spillway will be located on the north side of <br />the basin. The crest of the spillway will also be <br />located 3.0 feet from the bottom of the temporary storage <br />cell at the 492 feet elevation. The stage, storage, and <br />discharge parameters for the north basin are shown in <br />Table 7. <br />V <br />
