u <br />fe <br />DESCRIPTION OF VARIANCE BEING REQUESTED <br />FOR THE <br />ARCO AM/PM MINI -MARKET <br />TO DE LOCATED AT <br />901 WEST CASINO ROAD, EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br />JOB NO. 2552 <br />Uarghausen Consulting Engineers, on behalf of the ARCO Petroleum Products Company, <br />request a sign variance from the provisions of the City of Everett Zoning Code Chapter <br />19.24, V-1 (Neighborhood Shopping Zone) Section 19.24.020, Permitted Uses, "F": <br />"One lighted or unlighted free-standing or pole sign 30-square feet in area, <br />serving a multi -tenant building occupying a single lot. Any such sign shall be <br />placed on the lot for which the identifying or advertising messages is <br />intended." <br />The applicant requests consideration and approval of an agreement formulated between <br />Dariotis Developments, Inc., and the ARCO Petroleum Products Company, which would <br />transfer the right to the placement of the above -identified 30-square foot free-standing <br />or pule sign from the future commercial development proposed adjacent to the subject <br />site to the ARCO Petroleum Products Company development. Such a transfer of <br />development rights between the adjoining properties would not jeopardize either the <br />intent of the zoning code as only one 30-square foot free-standing or pole sign would be <br />allowed at this site. <br />2552.28 <br />
