Excavation completed and forms being placed along lines 2+ I and 5; footing bottoms appeared acceptable except for 2 places in Line 2 + 11' where debris (broken fire brick, wood, and steel scraps) were present. Wilbur was requested to remove the debris to firm soil (approximately 6" deep) prior to placing concrete. Rough grading of southeast area (covered parking buildings) approximately 95% complete. NOTES Minor grade adjustments in the covered parking building area were discussed and established. Wilbur is understandably eager to start the layout and construction of the foundation fol the steel buildings. An examination and discussion of the incomplete data submitted to date by the supplier resulted in a mutual agreement that the contractor would make a detailed check of the material submitted, mark up submittal sets showing any required adjustments and corrections as well as major dimensional deviations from the information shovn on the contract drawings and submit them to the architect for review and approval.
