thereof to intersect the centerline of the alley lying west of Rockefeller Avenue at a point, said point being the westerly projection of the north line of lot 28, block 684, Plat of Everett with the centerline of said alley, thence south along the centerline of the alley west of Rockefeller Avenue to the intersection of the centerline of Pacific Avenue, thence west along the centerline of Pacific Avenue to the point of beginning. Situated in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington. Section 4. The City Council will hold a public hearing on the 29th day of June, 2005, at 8:30 A.M., or as soon thereafter as the pending Council Agenda allows, in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, Everett, Washington, to consider the disestablishment of the existing BIA and to consider the initiation and establishment of a new BIA the boundaries of which are described in Section 3 hereof. Section 5. The City Council, at such hearing on the 29th day of June 2005 at 8:30 A.M., will hear all protests and receive evidence for or against the proposed action, and all persons who may desire to object to the action proposed should do so in writing and file said objection with the Everett City Clerk at or prior to June 29, 2005, or shall appear and present their objection on the date set for hearing before the City Council on June 29, 2005, at 8:30 A.M. or as soon thereafter as the pending Council Agenda allows. Section 6. The City Clerk shall provide for publishing this resolution as may be provided by law, and further, that a notice of the hearing and a copy of this resolution shall be mailed to the owners or reputed owners of real property and buildings located within the proposed BIA area whose names appear as the owners of such property on the tax rolls of the Snohomish County Assessor or from the records of the City, and at the addresses for such owners as shown on such tax rolls or City records, such mailing to be made prior to the hearing as may be required by law. Section 7. The City of Everett would levy a special annual assessment at the rates, for the purposes and in the manner set forth in Attachments A and B hereto. Section 7. This resolution of intent does not constitute adoption or approval of a Resolution disestablishing the existing BIA, a Resolution initiating and establishing a new BIA or an ordinance Establishing a new BIA or of the proposed budget for a new BIA.
