].-.
February 11, 1993
MAR 10 9g3
B E & C ENGINEERS
Subject: Meeting with Plumbing Officials representing the City
of Everett, February 11, 1993.
cc: Len Astemborski OF-76
Thomas Mast OH-24
Sam Graves OH-24
Dan Walsh OH-12
Attendees: Tim Tyler, City of Everett
Brian Waugh, City of Everett
Steve Miller, City of Everett
Len Astemborski, BCAG
Sam Graves, BCAG
Larry Wehmhoefer, BCAG
Sam Graves, Len Astemborski and myself met with City of Everett
officials to discuss Factory Waste Water Piping Materials.
City officials had previously approved Industrial Waste Water
Piping materials for the 40-37 Building. The 40-37 Building
system is to be extended to serve Clean, Seal and Paint
enclosures in New Buildings 40-36, -35, -34, -26 and -25. The new
system would tie into the existing Factory Waste Water Piping
System which terminates at the Waste Treatment Plant.
City Officials had not had the opportunity to comment on the
Industrial Waste Piping Sytem serving the new buildings.
It was agreed that welded black steel pipe would be acceptable
for conveying Industrial Waste Water from all of the sources
noted above. The piping must be flooded at all times to prevent
or minimize oxidation of interior pipe surfaces.
Larry Wehmhoefer
Facilities Engineer, Mechanical
T-6153, OH-24
266-2818
