Ns e specific etructure is not currently proposed for the Site I <br /> aree, we will provide general recomrt,endetions for foundation end floor <br /> slab support. Our etudy speciticelly eddresees the scope elements as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. Site exploretion by meane of drilled borings. Five boringe <br /> were drilled on Site I to depths ranging from 13 to 16 feet <br /> beneeth current site gradea. Site II wes explored by drilling <br /> three borings to depths af epproxim;itely 15 feet. <br /> 2. A laboratory teeting proqrem to easess pertinent physicel and <br /> engineering properties of the soils encountered. <br /> 3. xecommendetions reqarding foundation suppozt. We will include <br /> allowable eoil bearing preasures for footinq design, minimwn <br /> footinq width and depth requirements, end estimates of foun- <br /> dation settlements. <br /> 4. Recommendatione regarding site preperation. <br /> 5. A vritten report pzesenting the results of our etudy �iill be <br /> prepared for eech buildiny site. <br /> fCNE.9ULE <br /> 1�e are currently pzoceeding with our Site II etudy. Verbal zecom- <br /> mendetiona will be provided on October 7, 1987. Our final report (Site <br /> iI1 ehould be availeble early the next week.
