Boeing has
eliminated the road and retaining wall that intruded
into the ESA slope above Stream Corridor A and Wetland
H. However, the new plans show a fill and graded slope
that is 10 feet higher that the existing natural top of
slope and extends 25 feet down the ESA slope.
Furthermore, the building's paved area is located only
l0 feet from the new top af slope (e.g. 526 ) .
The
clear intent of the Decision Document is to keep all
construction off of steep slopes associated with a
wetland or stream, including fill and grading, and
provide for a natively vegetated buffer of 25 feet from
the top of slope.
2) Setback from Wetland G. The fill and qrading for
the northwest corner of Building 40-41 parking lot
extends into the 5o foot buffer for Wetland G. This is
an existing vegetated buffer area that should not be
physical{y altered; such alteration may effect the
function values and hydrology of the subject wetland.
3 Wetland Hydrology. The present plans do not shown
drainage plan (or requested calculations) for transport
of roof drainage to Wetlands G and H.
4) Buffer Revegetation Plan. A buffer revegetation
p) an for the area above wetland H and stream A must be
prepared by a qualified biologist/botanist. A
landscaping plan for other graded perimeter areas must
also be submitted and muad 'acentdforested areases found
in (or compatible with) J
