Purpose of the meetmg was to discuss the potendal
impact tle 3team Plant could have on Bceing Lake. A 3096 set of design documenis had
been fumished to the Ciry of Everett for review and with thc compleuon of thc 6090
documenis, addidonal concerns wartanted aview of the changes. I
Sine the use of the exisdng ditch as a bio•filvation area could not be used as proposed on
the 30Ro design documenis, altemate methocls of convol were discusscd. ;
I 1. A determination of the watcr quality would bc requid before a direct outfall ro the
( lake would be allowed. Since this could vary wuh the potential contaminants, it li
was decided the direct outfall would only be acceptable with the proper wntainment
upstream or if rouung the outfall would allow enough bio-filtrauon to provide the I
, necessary protection.
 2. Since the 60R6 design indicates the outfall will be adjacent to the ezisting rip-rap
inlet to the lake, a discussion followed to uy and determine how to modi[y the arca
to provide the proper bio-fllvadun. The drain line could be extended ro the East,
past the rip-rap area,.modify the contour to aliow a swale to be added and redirect
the inlet to the lake. After discussing thc potential cost it was decided this was not a
 cost effective solution.
3. 5uggested open grated trench across road was discussed and it did not appear this
' would provide the proper depth to accommodate the new oiUwatcr separator.

1801 Flfth Avnu,ult900 • s..tti.,w..tiintton • asios
(408)8ZS0717 PhoO (208)824J776 FAX
