the building. The facility will require an electric power connection. The facility
would not create a demand for public services.
Conclusion: Adequate provisions for access, utilities and public services for the
proposal can be accommodated.
3. The impact of traffic generated by the proposed use on the surrounding arca,
pedestrian circulation and public safety; and the ability of the proponent to
mitigate such potential impacts.
Finding: The proposal may generate some minimal traffic associated with the
initial installation and set-up. However, once the facility is operating. no on-
going traffic will be generated, other than occasional maintenance trips
(approximately one visit per month).
Conclusion: There will be no adverse traffic impacts generated by the proposal.
4. 'I'he provision of adequate off-street parking,on-site circulation,and site
access.
Finding: No permanent on-site parking is required for the proposal. The
associated electrical equipment would be located within the building interior and
would not eliminate any parking stalls.
Conclusion: Not applicable.
S. Compatibility of proposed structures and improvements with surrounding
properties,including the size,height, location,setback and arrangement of
all proposed buildings and facilities, especially as they relate to light and
shadow impacts on more sensitive land uses and less intensive zones.
Findings: The proposed wireless communication facility(WCF)would include
additional wireless communication antennas,a microwave dish, electrical cabinet
and a cable connection between the facilities. The site is located at the on the cast
side of Colby Avenue between 131°and 141h Streets. The existing hospital is
located in an R-2-I zone and is surrounded by single-family residences and some
duplexes. There arc other existing wireless communication facilities located on
the hospital roof, the most recent of which is owned and operated by Vcrizon
Wireless(SPIJ 1109-004).
The project would result in placement of additional antennas on the roof of the
hospital. The application does not reference whether the antenna shrouds or
associated cabling would be painted or colored to match the building exterior.
Please also see the findings lbr Item (12)in the next section.
2
