I lospital.on the City of Everett's
Comprehensive Plan map. The Comprehensive Plan contains a policy that
encourages co-location of utilities, where possible,in order to minimize
proliferation of utility structures and environmental disturbance. The proposal
involves use of an existing,non-residential stnicture for support, rather than a new
structure such as a monopole. According to application documents submitted,
there arc other exiting antennas owned by the Applicant and others on the roam-
the hospital;consequently the proposal would involve co-location of antennas.
Conclusion: The use of the property is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.
The overall appearance of the site would not be changed, and impacts on abutting
residential properties can be mitigated.
3
