Mr. Tyler suggested that the resolution be amended to allow the owner 30 days to demolish the building. Councilmember Pope and Overstreet voiced concem that the owner not be aflowed to prolong the demolition project beyond 30 days. Moved by Councilmember Weinzierl, seconded by Councilmember Campbell to adopt ResoluHon No. 4073 authorizing the demolition and clearing of the building from the property at 1901 Colby as follows: WFiEP.EAS, the City of Everett Building Official has found the building on the property located at 1901 Colby to be dangerous to the health, safety and welfare of the public pursuant to the City of Everett Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings; and WHEREAS, the City Council fmds that the Building Official issued a Notice and Order requiring tha owners of the property to repair or demolish and remove 4ie building from Lhe property; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the repair or demolition of the building has not taken place as required in the Order, and ' :";,? 76
