The owner of 1901 <br /> Colby Avenue has recently obtained a demolition pemilt. Mr. Tyler suggested <br /> that the resolution be amended to allow the owner 30 days to demolish the <br /> building. <br /> Councilmember Pope and Overstreet voiced concem that the owner not be <br /> aflowed to prolong the demolition project beyond 30 days. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Weinzierl, seconded by Councilmember <br /> Campbell to adopt ResoluHon No. 4073 authorizing the demolition and <br /> clearing of the building from the property at 1901 Colby as follows: <br /> WFiEP.EAS, the City of Everett Building Official has found the building on the <br /> property located at 1901 Colby to be dangerous to the health, safety and welfare <br /> of the public pursuant to the City of Everett Uniform Code for the Abatement of <br /> Dangerous Buildings; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council fmds that the Building Official issued a Notice and <br /> Order requiring tha owners of the property to repair or demolish and remove 4ie <br /> building from Lhe property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the repair or demolition of the building <br /> has not taken place as required in the Order, and <br /> ' :";,? 76 <br />
