They appear to meet with the provisions of the state's school <br /> reguiations (WAC 246-366), and are approved. <br /> Priur to occupancy, please contact me to perform the preoccupancy inspection as <br /> required in Section 250(2) of WAC 246-366. <br /> At the time of the preoccupancy inspection, a written statement from your HVAC <br /> engineer stating the ventilation systems meet the NC-35 noise requirement must be <br /> submitted. <br /> Apparentiy, the school is to be occupied while construction is to continue. Due to <br /> potential health and safety problems presented by this type of situation, the <br /> Snohomish Health District has estabtished Const;uction Gu;delines for Occupied <br /> Schoo/ Buildings. This will require that: <br /> A) A safety plan be submitted to this office that includes: <br /> i) Plans for safe access and egress to all student areas, <br /> ii) Effective barricades of unsafe areas, <br /> iii) Patrolling of the work site to insure student safety, <br /> iv) Identification of the most hazardous areas, <br /> v) Designation of a responsible person for plan implementation, <br /> vi) Establishing a reporting procedure wherein all occupants, including students <br /> and staff, may report to the school district any contaminants, odors, air <br /> pollution, excessive noise, poor lighting, safety hazards, or any other unsafe <br /> or unhealthy procedures or situations. <br />
