Finding: The proposed faciiity will be located on the roo(of an existing huilding. The
existing building is located on a comer lot with fully improved public streets and is
serviced with all utilities.
Conclusion: Adequate provisions for access, utilities and public services for the
proposal can be accommodated.
3. The impact of trac generated by the proposed use on the surtounding area,
pedestrian circulation and public safety; and the abiiity of the proponent to
mitigate such potential impacts.
Finding: The proposal may generate some minimal traffic noise associated with the
irntial installation and set-up. However, once the facility is operaling no on-going traffic
will be generated.
Conclusion: There will be no adverse traffic impacts generated by the proposal.
4. The provision of adequate oH-street paking, on-site circulation, and site access.
Finding: No permanent on-site parking is required for the proposal.
Conelusion: Not applicable.
5. Compatibility of proposed structures and improvements with surroundtng
piopeRies, including the size, height, location, setback and arrangement of all
proposed buildings and faeilities, especially as they relatrt to light and shadow
impacts on more senslUve land uses and less intensive zones.
Findings: The components associated wiih the proposal unll be erected on the roof ot
an existing, 14-story ce building. The surrounding area is developed with mainly
commercial uses.
, Many of the antennas, particularly lhe pole-type antennas, wouid be visible from nearby
surrounding areas. The pole antennas wouid be mounted on the mechanical equipment
screen on 1he central portion of the roof. These antennas wouid range in height from 2-
20 feet, with 12-14 feet being the most common height. The diameter of the antennas
would be from 1.5-2 inches.
The satellite dishes would be mounted to the roof deck and would range in size from 1-6
feet in diameter. The dishes wouid not be highly visible due to lheir relatively low height
above the roof deck, screening provided by the parapet wall, and the setback fram the
perimeter oF the buiiding.
Panei antennas would be approximately 10 inches wide Ey 7 inches deep by 4-8 feet in
height. Panel antennas would be mounted on the side of the mechanical equipment
screen. The Applicant indicated that panel antennas would be painted to match the
color of the equipment screen wall.
a 2930 Wetmorc,Suitc 800,Ercrctt,Vp 98201-1044 ' (425) 257-8731, Fa: (J2257-8742
,
