A portable fire extinguisher with a minimum UL Rating of 2A must <br />be provided within 75 feet travel distance of all portions of <br />each building during construction and prior to occupancy. <br />12. Construction activities must be in compliance with Uniform Fire <br />Code, 1985 Edition, Article 87, "Fire Safety During <br />Construction." <br />17. The PUD presently has sufficient capacity to serve the proposed <br />development. GTE commented that the Colby Square project will require a <br />relocation of existing aerial plant in the alley south of <br />Everett Avenue, between Colby Avenue and Wetmore Avenue. It is <br />GTE's intent to enter the project with communications cable on <br />the north end of the existing alley. All architect inquiries <br />and questions regarding clarification of GTE's comments should <br />be directed to Ed Turgeon, Senior Engineer, at 356-4063. <br />19. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all <br />known, available, and reasonable means of controlling air <br />pollution, including dust. Dust generated during construction <br />activities can be controlled by wetting those dust sources such <br />as areas of exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they <br />leave the site, and installing and maintaining gravel <br />construction entrances. Construction vehicle track -out is also <br />a major dust source. Any evidence of track -out can t-igger <br />violations and fines from the Department of Ecology or the Puaet <br />Sound Air Pollution Control Agency.
