A one -hour rated corridor is required between the stair enclosures to meet the <br />requirements of the exception to Section 3303(c). <br />The corridor must be permanent and would be required on single and mulfi-tenant floors. <br />6. Please clarify if the building will be equipped with smoke -proof enclosures (with <br />vestibule) or will have stair shafts pressurized per exception 1, Section 3310(b). <br />Please note that stair shafts must be of two-hour construction per Section 3309(b). <br />7. Exit barriers to the basement are required at all exit stairs. Section 3306(h). <br />8. Seven accessible parking stalls are required (Table 31-F). One of these stalls must be a <br />van accessible stall with 9'-6" minimum ceiling clearance along the aisles leading to and <br />the area around the parking stall. <br />Directional signage at the alley entrance is required for accessible and van accessible <br />parking <br />9. The roof deck areas must be accessible (if decks are intended for general use, no access <br />would be required if decks are intended for decoration only). <br />10. An oil/water separator is required for ali garage area drainage. <br />Please note that this review is not intended to replace a detailed plan review and only <br />represents general overall issues.
