Tom Rochon opened the meeting by describing the scope of the project: <br /> • The project will be phased over several years. Phase I, will consist of: <br /> • Filling in the stepped floois of the theatre to a slope, o� which new <br /> theatre seats will be instalied at the main floor. <br /> • Cosmetic patching & repair of theatre space only. Lobby and adjacent <br /> spaces will not be included. <br /> • Paint interior of the theatre only. Lobby and adjacent spaces will not <br /> be included. <br /> • Ali exit doors will be replaced, except the main front entry doors. <br /> • Accessible viewing platforms will be instalied. <br /> • Existing orchestra pit will be uncovered and restored. Existing <br /> concrete steps and wood piatform covering the piT will be removed. <br /> • Lighting in the theatre space only, will be replaced with new. Lobby <br /> and adjacent spaces will not be included. <br /> • General inquiry about this Phase is, to what extent the project will be <br /> required to meet current code and to request assistance on interpreting <br /> some of the requirements, <br /> 2. Permitting: The slab work will not require a permit, but the new seating will <br /> require City review and permit. <br /> 3.
