11 Av.JAW RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Everett setting a public hearing before City Council on February 11, 2004 at 8:30 a.m. to consider proposed 2004 activities and budget for the Downtown Everett Business Improvement Area (BIA) and to provide that notice of the hearing and budget be sent to property owners in the BIA. WHEREAS,the City of Everett is in receipt of the Downtown Everett Association's proposed budget for calendar year 2004 for the Downtown Everett Business Improvement Area(BIA); and WHEREAS,the City Council wishes to set a time for public hearing thereon. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT Section 1: That the City Council shall hold a hearing on February 11, 2004, at 8:30 a.m., in the Everett City Council Chambers, to consider the proposed 2004 activities and budget, attached and hereby made a part of this resolution as Exhitit A. Section 2: The City Clerk shall provide for publishing this resolution as may be provided by law, and further,that a notice of the hearing and a copy of this resolution shall be mailed to the owners or reputed owners of real property and buildings located within the proposed BIA area whose names appear as the owners of such property on. the records of the City Treasurer, or if no address appears there, on the tax rolls of the Snohomish County Assessor, and at the addresses for such owners as shown on such tax rolls,such mailing to be made prior to the hearing as may be required by law. Section 3: This resolution does not constitute adoption or approval of the proposed 2004 BIA Budget, and the City Council, after the public hearing on February 11, 2004 (or at conclusion of any continuance thereof)may approve an annual BIA budget different from the proposed 2004 annual BIA budget attached and made a part of this resolution.
