3 SCOPEEXHIBIT OF WORK <br /> 1. Work to Be Performed: <br /> General: <br /> Provide drawings, specifications and calculations required for the following work located in the City of <br /> Everett — Police Headquarters building located at 3002 Wetmore. The area of proposed alterations <br /> within this building are located on the second floor, approximately 108' x 45' west of line 3 as shown on <br /> "City Hall"drawing sheet A-3 dated 4/12/78. The work shall include the following: <br /> Architectural: <br /> 1. Provide design for the replacement of the existing spray-on fireproofing to meet the Uniform <br /> Building Code requirements. <br /> 2. Design minor door and wall revisions as directed by the City. <br /> 3. Select and specify replacement of the existing flooring. <br /> 4. Select and specify replacement of the existing ceiling grid and acoustical ceiling tiles. <br /> 5. Supply architectural documents sufficient for obtaining permits and competitive bids for the <br /> work. <br /> 6. Assist the Owner in obtaining bids and building permits.The City will pay all permit costs. <br /> 7. Assist the Owner in answering questions during the bid period. <br /> 8. Oversee the construction with site visits sufficient to keep the City advised of the progress and <br /> endeavor to guard against defects and deficiencies in the work. <br /> 9. Review shop drawings. <br /> 10. Attend periodic construction meetings. <br /> 11. Attend meetings with the building depaitment as required. <br /> Mechanical: <br /> 1. Provide engineering, drawings and specifications for the HVAC system after the conclusion of <br /> the asbestos abatement. <br /> 2. Provide a cost estimate for the revised HVAC system to be included in the bid package as a <br /> "Mechanical Allowance". <br /> Electrical: <br /> 1. Provide engineering, drawings and specifications for new lighting. <br /> 2. Investigate possible rebates available through the PUD for the new lighting. <br /> 3. Investigate existing electrical system to identify spare panel capacity should additional power be <br /> required by the revised HVAC system. <br /> 4. Provide engineering, drawings and specifications for power as required for the revised HVAC <br /> system after the conclusion of the asbestos abatement. <br /> 5. Provide a cost estimate for the revised electrical system to support the revised HVAC system to <br /> be included in the bid package as an"Electrical Allowance". <br /> Submission of Documents: <br /> 1. Submit project bid documents no latter than April 8, 2004 <br /> 2. Submit revised HVAC system design no latter than 10 working days following the asbestos <br /> abatement. <br /> 3. Submit electrical design to support revised HVAC system design no latter than 10 working days <br /> following the asbestos abatement. <br /> 13 <br /> 9 <br />
