During our phone conversation this morning, I discussed with you the possibility of <br />` city staff performing emergency abatement on the building at the abcve mentioned <br /> Ilocadon, which you own. <br />( <br />� The building was severely damaged by fire on June 2, 1997. The building is open to <br /> the public and has been declared dangerous to the health, safety and welfare of the <br />�� public, a iiarbor for vagrants, and an attractive nuisance to inquisitive minors. The <br /> I building cannot be accupied in its present condition. <br />�� Ciry staff understands your concerns and desires to demolish the bumeci building. <br /> However, since the building presents such a danger to the health, safety, and welfare of <br />' the public, the city will be proceeding with emergency aUatement of the building. Any <br /> and all cost incurred by the city as a result of these procedures shall be assessed as a <br />! lien against Ihe property. These procedures were also discussed during our phone <br /> conversation on July 2nd.
