The Navy would like to renew the agreement for another <br /> year, effective March 5,2004. Due to decreased participation in the program the Navy will pay <br /> $16,000 for the next year of service. This is a net reduction of$8,000 from the current agreement and <br /> is consistent with Everett Transit's fifty-two cents (.52) average fare per boarding. The United States <br /> Navy Morale,Welfare and Recreation Fund (MWRF agrees to pay Everett Transit$1,333.33 per <br /> month for one year,for unlimited access to bus service provided by Everett Transit. The service is <br /> offered to all persons displaying a Navy military identification card. The following are qualified <br /> persons: active duty, their dependents, reserve and retired Navy personnel. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Mayor to sign the Ridership Fare Agreement between the United <br /> States Navy and Everett Transit. <br /> 100 <br />
