4 <br /> normal business practices. The Association acknowledges the Citjdoes not and <br /> will not insure the contents of the shellhouse, any Association property, and <br /> Association members' property. <br /> i. Investigate the possibility of additional facilities to supplement the rowing <br /> program such as-a safety/rescue boat storage facility, or expansion of existing <br /> shellhouse. <br /> j. If, during the term of the Agreement, the City decides to move the Association <br /> from its current site, the City will make all reasonable efforts to provide a <br /> comparable shellhouse facility at a new site. The Association shall be given <br /> written notice of any such decision ninety(90) days in advance of said move. <br /> 3. Association Responsibilities. The Association agrees to provide at its own cost the <br /> following: <br /> a. Equipment for said Rowing Program including, but not limited to the following: <br /> Eight's, fours, double, singles, safety launches with motors, oars, ergometers. In <br /> the event of dissolution or winding up of the Association, the remaining assets of <br /> the corporation shall be distributed by the Association to the Everett Parks and <br /> Recreation Department for•the purpose of continuing the Rowing Program. <br /> Association shall provide an updated inventory list at annual meeting between the <br /> Parks and the Association. <br /> b. The Association shall maintain all equipment used in the performance of activities <br /> pursuant to this Agreement. <br /> c. Classes and rowing opportunities for the general public. This includes but is not <br /> limited to the following: <br /> I. Novice or introductory classes for the general public youth and adult <br /> exclusively through contract with the Everett Parks Department. <br /> 2. Opportunities to row for those rowers who graduate from a beginning <br /> class yet are unable to fit into a competitive group. <br /> 3. A Junior Crew competitive program to be open to all Everett area <br /> youth. <br /> d. The collection and accounting of all revenue and expenditures including, but not <br /> limited to, membership fees, regatta entry fees donation, and all other revenue <br /> obtained and expenditures incurred, from the operation of the Association's <br /> program. The Association shall not be responsible for collecting and accounting <br /> for revenue for Parks Department rowing classes taught by the Association. En <br /> connection with the collection of revenue, the Association agrees to maintain an <br /> accurate accounting of all revenue collected based on generally accepted <br /> principles of bookkeeping and accounting, and to keep said books open for <br /> inspection by the City at any reasonable time. The Association shall also provide <br /> a year end financial statement to the City. on or before October 31' of each year <br /> of the Agreement. <br /> • <br /> 8 <br />
