4 <br /> EVERETT ROWING POLICY <br /> GENERAL OPERATIONS <br /> Policy shall be drafted and proposed to the Council then published and made available to <br /> the membership and voted on for final passage at the next General Membership Meeting. <br /> -A complete and updated version of all policy shall be permanently displayed or made <br /> available at the boathouse. <br /> Membership and Fees: All rowing club members must be in good standing with the <br /> Everett Rowing Association for"on the water" participation. In order to competein any <br /> USRA sanctioned regattas members must also be members of USRA. p <br /> -The dues will be determined by the elected Council. There shall be the following <br /> catagories of membership. <br /> -Annual (January t December <br /> -Summer(Memorial Day-Thanksgiving) <br /> -Supporting members <br /> -New members joining Everett Rowing after the beginning of the scheduled dues <br /> will have their dues prorated. Prorated dues start in June and the amount shall becicle <br /> determined by the Council This is a one time only offering. <br /> -ERA dues and junior fees for coaching expenses shall be waived for anyone wishing <br /> to <br /> participate as a coxswain only. They shall be required to meet all other`usual membership <br /> criteria". e p <br /> Guests: <br /> -Guests are welcome to row for a total of 3 times without pay. <br /> -Guest must sign the guest form located in the guest book. <br /> -Guests must abide by the policies of ERA <br /> -Guests must wear life jackets until swimming verification is verified. <br /> Refunds: <br /> -Everett Rowing and USA Rowing membership fees are not refundable. <br /> -Uniform costs are not refundable. <br /> -Junior competitive season fees are not refundable after the first month of the <br /> -Members may petition the Everett Rowing Council for refunds when extenuating ting ' <br /> circumstances exist. <br /> Audit Committee: <br /> -The council shall appoint an "audit committee: to review the financial records of the <br /> Association. An audit will be conducted in November of each year. This committee shall <br /> make a report of their findings at the January Council Meeting. <br /> 17 <br />
