Y for r VS the ie marine <br /> -to increase each student's ability to use the goal setting process, <br /> -to increase the student's awareness and appreciation for the unique opportunity that has <br /> been provided to them, <br /> -to encourage each student's participation in social and work activities of the club off <br /> water_ <br /> Safety <br /> -must abide by the safety guidelines set forth in policy <br /> -all novice rowers must wear a life jacket during their first season, <br /> -all novice rowers using one and two person boats must wear a life jacket. <br /> Lettering <br /> Everett Rowing Junior Crew awards a letter certificate to those students who participate <br /> in the"Spring rowing season when they have met the following criteria. Letter awards <br /> and certificates of participation will be presented at the end of the season banquet. <br /> 1. Attend 90%of the practices <br /> 2. Participate in one fund raising event <br /> 3. Participate in all regattas including loading, unloading and clean-up <br /> 4. Adhere to behavior and training rules. <br /> Everett Rowing Junior Crew Athlete behavior and training rules <br /> These rules and guidelines apply to all students participating in the Everett Rowing Junior <br /> Crew Team during turnouts, competition, trips and offseason times.
