If it is determined that a gross violation has occurred with the <br /> knowledge or willing participation of a coach or manager, the <br /> disciplinary action will be at the discretion of the board and <br /> can include immediate suspension. <br /> 4.) Any action may be appealed to the council. <br /> 5.) Any actions must be thoroughly documented. <br /> 6.) Written notice to the person filing the grievance must be <br /> provided within 15 days of receipt of the complaint. <br /> 16 <br /> 6. Julllors <br /> A. Junior rowers (minors under 18 years of age) must follow all the <br /> policies and procedures established by ERA. <br /> B. juniors may row during open rows providing they are accompanied by <br /> a coach/manager in a launch. This may require prior arrangements. <br /> C. Junior guests row by prior arrangement only with a coach or manager. <br /> No <br /> left unattended off the water. This <br /> D. 1VU�U[llUl rower is to be on or ,�, This <br /> includes before, during and after turnouts. <br /> E. Juniors must row for one season before being allowed to row single or <br /> double seated shells. <br /> Use of boats. <br /> ERA boats may be used by members in good standing or by registered class participants. <br /> All members/class participants and guests must follow all ERA Policies and Procedures. <br /> Members wishing to use equipment other than designated times must petition the Council <br /> for approval. Equipment leaving the boathouse for regattas not being attended by the <br /> general membership must have the Council approval <br /> Launch drives must have completed appropriate training and follow launch driving policy. <br /> All drivers must have: <br /> 1. Become thoroughly acquainted with the care and use of facility, launches or <br /> completed a small boat handling certification course and have a copy of the <br /> certification on tile; <br /> 2. Launch drivers are responsible to see that launches are equipped with listed <br /> safety equipment, including a means of communications, and are in good <br /> operational order. <br /> 3.
