EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK I <br /> PHASE IV <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> FOR THE <br /> I-5141ST STREET INTERCHANGE ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTATION <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> During the analysis for the Everett I-5 Interchange and Arterial Access Action Plan, the 415` <br /> Street/Broadway interchange on I-5 was identified as being inadequate to handle growing traffic <br /> volumes and the access needs into the south end of Everett's downtown area. To remedy this <br /> situation will require a major revision to an existing access point at 40 Street. The purpose of <br /> this Scope of Services is to prepare the environmental documents for this project <br /> 1.0 Project Management <br /> Work Element 1.1. Project Coordination. This work element will have the following sub- <br /> elements: <br /> 1.1.1. Maintain day-to-day contact with client. The City will be kept informed on issues <br /> concerning work progress, need for liaison with agencies, and factors affecting project <br /> progress. <br /> 1.1.2. Coordinate and schedule activities of consulting staff in order to meet the overall <br /> project schedule and to keep work progressing efficiently. Coordinate activities of <br /> subconsultants as members of the project team. <br /> 1.1.3. Prepare monthly progress reports and invoices that document progress to date,rates of <br /> expenditure,work completed, and work anticipated in future months. Prepare, monitor, and <br /> update project schedule monthly. <br /> Work Element 1.2. Project Meetings. Conduct periodic team meetings with client and consultant <br /> team to discuss technical issues,data needs,coordination of activities, and information needed to <br /> maintain progress. Prepare meeting minutes and an action item list following each monthly team <br /> meeting. <br /> 2.0 Agency Coordination <br /> Work Element 2.1. Coordinate with the HOV Lanes Project. As requested by the City,meet <br /> with the HOV Lanes Project manager and consultants to coordinate issues related to design, <br /> project cost and phasing, traffic analysis, stormwater management, and environmental analysis. <br /> Rev9808 10 <br />
