EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF WORK I PHASE IV SCOPE OF SERVICES FOR THE I-5141ST STREET INTERCHANGE ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTATION INTRODUCTION During the analysis for the Everett I-5 Interchange and Arterial Access Action Plan, the 415` Street/Broadway interchange on I-5 was identified as being inadequate to handle growing traffic volumes and the access needs into the south end of Everett's downtown area. To remedy this situation will require a major revision to an existing access point at 40 Street. The purpose of this Scope of Services is to prepare the environmental documents for this project 1.0 Project Management Work Element 1.1. Project Coordination. This work element will have the following sub- elements: 1.1.1. Maintain day-to-day contact with client. The City will be kept informed on issues concerning work progress, need for liaison with agencies, and factors affecting project progress. 1.1.2. Coordinate and schedule activities of consulting staff in order to meet the overall project schedule and to keep work progressing efficiently. Coordinate activities of subconsultants as members of the project team. 1.1.3. Prepare monthly progress reports and invoices that document progress to date,rates of expenditure,work completed, and work anticipated in future months. Prepare, monitor, and update project schedule monthly. Work Element 1.2. Project Meetings. Conduct periodic team meetings with client and consultant team to discuss technical issues,data needs,coordination of activities, and information needed to maintain progress. Prepare meeting minutes and an action item list following each monthly team meeting. 2.0 Agency Coordination Work Element 2.1. Coordinate with the HOV Lanes Project. As requested by the City,meet with the HOV Lanes Project manager and consultants to coordinate issues related to design, project cost and phasing, traffic analysis, stormwater management, and environmental analysis.
