Environmental Impact. The proposal must not have serious <br />adverse effects on the environment of the community. <br />Finding* A SEPA Environmental Checklist for the proposed eight <br />(8) lot rezone and construction of a brick and cedar <br />residential duplex in addition to an existing single family <br />residence on Lot 7 was filed and reviewed. A SEPA mitigated <br />Determination of Non -Significance (DNS) #34-90 was issued on <br />this proposal on June 12, 1990 indicating that both proposals <br />will not have adverse environmental impact and that an <br />Environmental Impact Statement is not required. A fifteen (15) <br />day public comment period followed the: date of issuance which <br />expired on July 4, 1990. All site specific development proposals on any of the <br />subject lots shall be reviewed by City to ensure full <br />compliance with the adopted General Plan policies and <br />standards and requirements of the City's Zoning Code through <br />SEPA or Building permit review process as applicable. <br />The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all <br />known, available, and reasonable means of controlling air <br />pollution, including dust. Dust generated during <br />construction activities can be controlled by wetting those <br />dust sources such as areas of exposed soils, washing truck <br />wheels before they leave the site, and installing and <br />maintaining gravel construction entrances. Construction <br />vehicle track -out is also a major dust source. Any evidence <br />of track -out can trigger violations and fines from the <br />Department of Ecology or the Puget Sound Air Pollution <br />Control Agency. <br />Date: July 5, 1990. <br />Prepared by: aN�`�.
