INFORMATION FOR DEVELOPER: <br />1. The Police Department has the following security recommendations: <br />a. The perimeter doors should be solid core with 190 <br />degree to 220 degree wide angle viewers and single <br />cylinder deadbolts with i" throw and at least 3" <br />screws securing striker plate. <br />b. Bay windows should overlook the parking. lot for in- <br />creased security of vehicles. <br />C. Sliding glass doors should have Charlie bars installed <br />for optimum security. <br />d. Lighting of the parking lot should be a minimum of 1-2 <br />foot candles. <br />e. Mailboxes and laundary rooms should be centrally <br />located in highly visible and well lit areas <br />f. The development premises must be clearly identified by <br />address at the street entrance and a-ch building block <br />muss be clearly identified so as to be visible and <br />legible from the access road or fire lane and parking <br />lots. <br />g. Local fire and intrusion alarm system (zoned for each <br />entity) is recommended for the game room, and sport <br />facilities if and when planned for. <br />h. During the final stages of construction, please contact <br />Dick Thornberry, Crime Prevention Officer at 259-0416 <br />for further security recommendations. <br />2. Any required landscaping provided in the City right-of-way must <br />be approved by the Public Works Department and must be leased <br />from the City. <br />4 <br />
