This ordinance also repeals the <br /> previous plans and systems ordinance, Ordinance No. 1896-92. The Washington State Department of <br /> Transportation (WSDOT) is responsible for the construction of this project, while, at WSDOT's request,the <br /> City has been responsible for the design and all the right-of-way acquisitions. The new plans and systems <br /> ordinance will account for the additional funds from WSDOT ($460,222), Boeing Mitigation ($400,000), and <br /> the City's Traffic Mitigation Fund ($57,584), which are needed to complete the City's work on the project. <br /> All of the funding sources for this project are as follows: <br /> TIB (State) Grant $5,773,000.00 <br /> Fund 158—Boeing Mitigation 1,193,298.00 <br /> WSDOT (State)Agreements 720,000.00 <br /> Fund 157—Traffic Mitigation 808,262.00 <br /> Fund 301 —Arterial Streets 126,000.00 <br /> Fund 425 —Everett Transit 6,246.00 <br /> Silver Lake Water District 31,000.00 <br /> Fund 396—Interest Earnings 60,000.00 <br /> Total $8,717,806.00 <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Approve the proposed ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled, "SR 527 Improvement <br /> Project," Fund 396, to accumulate all costs for the improvement and repealing Ordinance No. 1896-92. <br /> 9 8 <br />
