ST began Sounder <br /> commuter rail service on Sunday, December 21, 2003. The attached amendment identifies the additional <br /> expenses and responsibilities associated with the Sounder Commuter Rail services and a schedule of <br /> reimbursable expenses. The agreement expires February 3,2005 or a mutually agreed upon date for the end <br /> of the winter service change, usually the first Saturday in February. This agreement increases Sound <br /> Transit's annual reimbursement from approximately $35,800 to approximately$106,000. This amount <br /> covers proportionate operations and maintenance costs associated with Sounder commuter rail and Regional <br /> Express bus service at Everett Station. If actual expenses are greater or less than anticipated, Sound Transit's <br /> payment will be adjusted.
