Whereas, the Community Renewal Plan includes "Design and Development <br /> Parameters for Redevelopment Area" that would apply to future project specific <br /> development of the site and would be consistent with the R-1A zoning standards of the <br /> Everett Zoning Code; and <br /> Whereas, based on the foregoing, City Council has adopted Ordinance No. <br /> 2 7 8 6-0 4ezoning the community renewal area to R-1 A; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT: <br /> Section 1: Pursuant to the adoption of Resolution No. 5504 and 5505 on July 21, <br /> 2004, that the Smelter Area was designated a blighted area and the Everett Housing <br /> Authority was designated as the community renewal agency. <br /> Section 2: The City Council of the City of Everett hereby adopts by reference the <br /> Hearing Examiner's Findings, Conclusions, and Recommendations issued on July 30, <br /> 2004, which are attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference <br /> thereby making the findings required by RCW 35.81 and approving the Community <br /> Renewal Plan proposed by the Everett Housing Authority of the City of Everett, which is <br /> attached hereto as exhibit B and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> Section 3: Any future project specific redevelopment proposal for the <br /> redevelopment area must be consistent with the standards of the R-1A Zone and the <br /> "Design and Development Parameters for Redevelo i ment Area" <br /> / 1,7* <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED THIS 8th DAY OF September 2004 <br /> Council President <br /> 2 <br />
