CITY OF EVERETT <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> Amendments to Community Renewal Plan for the <br /> ASARCO Smelter Redevelopment Area <br /> Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Everett City Council on the date <br /> indicated below for consideration of the following: <br /> Proponent: Everett Housing Authority <br /> 3107 Colby Avenue <br /> Everett, WA 98201 <br /> Project Description: Amendments to the 'Community Renewal Plan for the Everett Smelter <br /> Redevelopment Area' as approved under City Council Resolution No. 5525 on September 8, 2004. <br /> The proposed changes to the Community Renewal Plan include the following: <br /> 1. Increasing the potential number of dwellings within the redevelopment of the fenced area from 85 <br /> to 90; <br /> 2. Increasing the maximum allowable percentage of attached dwellings within the Community <br /> Renewal Plan area from not more than 70% to not more than 80%; <br /> 3. A revised conceptual site plan for the "fenced area"; and <br /> 4. Revisions to the Design and Development Parameters for Redevelopment Area. <br /> Site Location: Pilchuck Path/ E. Marine View Drive <br /> Date of Public Hearing: March 15, 2006, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> The hearing will be held before the Everett City Council in the Council Chambers, 3002 Wetmore <br /> Avenue. <br /> Purpose of Hearing: To consider the proposed amendments. Any person desiring to be heard on <br /> this proposal is invited to attend the hearing.
