7 <br /> Task 530. Construction Cost Estimate and Construction Schedule <br /> Objective. To provide the Client with information to help keep Project facility's construction costs as <br /> budgeted by the Client. Indications of estimated construction cost overruns can be used to adjust the scope <br /> of the construction project. <br /> Approach. Consultant shall estimate the probable construction cost for construction based on the 50 and 90 <br /> percent design level completions. <br /> 1. Cost Estimates. The Consultant shall prepare construction cost estimates for the 50 and 90 percent <br /> complete plans and specifications. Consultant shall subdivide the cost estimate by Improvement and <br /> by major engineering divisions. <br /> 2. Construction Schedule. The consultant will provide schedule constraints based on plant operations and <br /> will prepare a draft construction schedule. <br /> Products. The construction cost estimate for construction for the 50 and 90 percent design level will be <br /> prepared as a technical memorandum.
