The City of Everett Office of Emergency Management has a plan to be submitted to the <br /> State with projected-approval date of September 14, 2004. Emergency Management will bring forward to <br /> City Council the City Emergency Management Ordinance, September 2004 for approval. The City will <br /> continue to participate in regional emergency management activities and work with county and regional <br /> jurisdictions cooperatively to enhance emergency management capabilities. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the letter of intent to withdraw from the Snohomish County Department of <br /> Emergency Management <br /> 1-9 <br />
