Add bid item#17 to the contract to pay for 69.22 square yards of <br /> cement concrete sidewalk above and beyond 125%of the original bid quantity,at the revised unit price of <br /> $47.18 per square yards. <br /> Item#18—Remove Cement Concrete Sidewalk. Add bid item#18 to the contract to pay for 73.62 <br /> square yards of remove cement concrete sidewalk above and beyond 125%of the original bid quantity,at <br /> the revised unit price of$40.52 per square yards. <br /> C. Justification of the items being amended or added by this change order <br /> Item#3—Traffic Control Labor. The quantity of hours of traffic control labor allowed in the original bid <br /> proposal were not used during construction on the project. <br /> Item#6—Remove Cement Concrete Curb&Gutter. Additional 11.50 linear feet of cement concrete <br /> curb&gutter,type A-1 were removed on this project do to replacement of cracked and sunken curb and <br /> gutter in the vicinity of the new signal pole foundations. <br /> Item#7—Remove Cement Concrete Sidewalk. Additional 83.62 square yards of remove cement <br /> concrete sidewalk were removed do to existing conflicting under ground utilities when attempting to install <br /> signal pole foundations.Also the City of Everett replaced existing cracked&damaged concrete panels in <br /> the same vicinity of the signal pole foundations. The City of Everett and Transtech Electric,Inc.,have <br /> renegotiated the unit price for remove cement concrete sidewalk for those quantities above 125%of the <br /> original plan quantity. These are the 73.62 square yards reflected in new bid item#18. <br /> Item#8—Sawing Pavement. An additional 24 linear feet of sawing pavement was required to complete <br /> contract work on the project. <br /> Item#9—Crushed Surfacing Top Course.
