The new location, approved by Public Works, is just south of the Mervyn's building and will <br /> include better pedestrian access and improved customer waiting areas. The relocation project provides <br /> Everett Transit an opportunity to construct a permanent facility for drivers and a customer service sales office <br /> at the new location. Steadfast is developing and building the approximately 3,000 square foot bus platform, <br /> including a covered passenger waiting area. CNJA will project manage the move of the current temporary <br /> facility and design the new 300 square foot building and oversee the construction of the building. For its <br /> services, CNJA will be paid an amount not to exceed $28,439. This project is one phase of the South Everett <br /> Transit Center at the Everett Mall that has been before the following Council Committees as a part of the <br /> Steadfast Agreement: Budget Committee on 12/21/04; Real Estate Committee on 12/22/04; and the Budget <br /> Committee update on 01/18/05. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with CNJA <br /> Architects Regarding Project Management and Architectural Services for the South Everett Transit Center at <br /> Everett Mall. <br /> 13 <br /> Rwt/AI/2/14/05 CNJA-PSA <br />
