7 <br /> Request for Proposal <br /> Project: Everett Landfill and Tire Fire Site, Perimeter Landfill Gas Collection and Disposal System <br /> Project, Work Order No. SP 2952-3 <br /> Contractor: Glacier Construction Services, Inc. <br /> Engineer: Landmarc Technologies, Inc. <br /> Owner: City of Everett Public Works <br /> You are requested to provide a cost proposal to perform the following work: <br /> DESCRIPTION: <br /> I• Modifications to Contract Bid Items: <br /> A. New Bid Item No. 23: Install New Gas Collection System Between STA 115+00 and STA <br /> 118+50 <br /> Install two new control valves and perforated collection pipe on west boundary of the landfill, <br /> between STA 115+00 and 118+50. Perforated collection pipe shall run parallel to the railroad <br /> tracks (approximately 30' west of the existing collection pipe) for approximately 410 feet as <br /> shown in the attached Figure 1 (350 feet of pipe and 2, 30 ft connectors). The control valves <br /> shall be connected to the header and collection pipe via previously installed tees and new fused <br /> couplers. Valves are to be installed per details on Drawing M2. New collection pipe shall be <br /> connected via a new fitting and coupler. <br /> Install the collection pipe per Section B of Drawing Cl, and install at the same invert elevation <br /> as the collection pipe within the landfill access road at the corresponding stationing shown in <br /> Drawings C7 and C8. <br /> The City would be responsible for obtaining access west of the existing fence from BNSF and <br /> for any railroad flagging or fees that may be required. <br /> Work includes dismantling and re-installing the fence in order to perform the work and to <br /> provide the connections, and repairing the trench and landfill access road to the pre-existing <br /> condition. <br /> Work includes all utility locates, excavation, disposal of spoils (spoils would be placed in <br /> trench, except for bedding per specifications — Gravel Backfill for Pipe Zone Bedding) <br /> materials, labor, trench safety, testing, and any other item to complete the work. <br /> Measurement for the work is not proposed; the entire work to install the new gas collection and <br /> connections between Stations 115+00 to 118+50 is proposed to be paid per lump sum. <br /> 2 3 <br /> ',•,P.P BF 34011;,•c;;,,0 k:et iii 13.)5;Lc <br /> I I? 211ir: <br />
