New Bid Item No. 24:Install New Gas Collection System Between STA 131+00 and STA <br /> 133+50 <br /> Install approximately 60 feet of 8" header pipe from the existing control valve at STA 133+25 <br /> as shown in the attached Figure 2. Install header pipe per the modified Section C of Drawing I_ <br /> as attached. Install header pipe at a minimum slope of 1% to allow drainage to flow to existing <br /> condensate knockout at STA 133+40. <br /> Install approximately 265 feet of combined header per Figure 2 and collection pipe per the <br /> modified Section E, Drawing CI, as attached. Install at the same invert elevation as the <br /> collection pipe at the corresponding stationing shown in Drawings CI and CI 1, with the <br /> minimum slope on the header pipe of 1 percent. Install three new control valves where shown <br /> on Figure 2. Connect header to existing system at elbow immediately upstream of condensate <br /> knockout at STA 133+37. Provide new fittings as necessary. <br /> Install 100 feet of collection pipe only per Section B of Drawing Cl as shown in Figure 2. <br /> Work includes all utility locates, excavation, disposal of spoils (spoils would be placed in <br /> trench, except for bedding per specifications — Gravel Backfill for Pipe Zone Bedding) <br /> materials, labor, trench safety, testing, and any other item to complete the work. <br /> Measurement for the work is not proposed; the entire work to install the new gas collection and <br /> connections between Stations 131+00 to 133+50 is proposed to be paid per lump sum <br /> C. New Bid Item No. 25: Install Flow Meter <br /> Provide battery operated flow meter (Ernest Model 319 04 S 100 — cut sheet attached, or equal) <br /> with totalizer in condensate force main. Locate flow meter near blower facility and downstream <br /> of all condensate KO. Install within new meter box rated for traffic (H-20 rating). Work <br /> includes everything to furnish and install meter. No measurement will be done; payment is <br /> proposed to be lump sum. <br /> II. Modifications to Contract Time <br /> The original contract was suspended dated April 2, 2004 with no remaining contract days. <br /> Please provide an estimate of the additional number of contract days to be added to complete <br /> the work per the proposed change order no. 1. <br /> Please include the following information in your proposal: <br /> 1. Lump sum price for additional hid items nos. 23, 24, and 25. <br /> 2. Estimated increase (decrease) in contract price. <br /> 3.
