ZOc'r — 4 <br /> A Resolution Recommending City Council <br /> deny the Frauenholtz Request to Amend the <br /> Comprehensive Plan Map From a Designation of <br /> Single Family (1.2) to Community Business (4.1) <br /> and Rezone From R-2 (Single Family) to B-1 <br /> (Neighborhood Shopping), for a Property Located <br /> West of the Intersection of Pecks Drive at Cady Road. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted its Comprehensive Plan in August, 1994, in <br /> conformance with the Washington State Growth Management Act; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Growth Management Act, codified as Chapter 36.70A, allows for <br /> comprehensive plans to be amended on an annual basis; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett initiated its 2004 annual comprehensive plan amendment <br /> process in July, 2004; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed action is to amend the Comprehensive Plan Map From a Designation <br /> of Single Family(1.2) to Community Business (4.1) and rezone from R-2 (Single Family) to B-1 <br /> (Neighborhood Shopping), see Exhibit "A"; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held two public hearings on the matter on February 1, <br /> 2005 and continued it to March 1, 2005, at which time they continued public testimony and <br /> heard the affected property owners, neighbors and a staff presentation and considered the various <br /> aspects of the proposal. <br /> 1' 9 <br /> - 1 - <br />
