No new standards or specifications will be developed. <br /> 12.5 Deliverables <br /> 1. E-mailed Word document draft and final Chapter 9 — Design and Construction Standards <br /> and Specifications. <br /> 13.0 Task 13 — Capital Improvement Plan (CWP Chapter <br /> 10) <br /> 13.1 Objective <br /> Prepare a Capital Improvement Plan database that provides a project description, schedule, <br /> costs, prioritization, and justification. <br /> 13.2 HDR Services <br /> 1. Work with the City during a workshop to discuss and develop project evaluation, screening <br /> and prioritization criteria to be used in the selection of and prioritization of projects. The <br /> contents of the CIP table and project sheets will also be reviewed and refined at this <br /> workshop. .. <br /> 2. Describe the CIP prioritization process, project justification and description. <br /> 3. If the data is available, work with City staff to organize and summarize system pipe age <br /> and line break information to help evaluate remaining pipe life throughout the system. <br /> 4. As other project information is made available by the City, water CIP projects will be <br /> scheduled to coordinate with other City sewer and street improvement projects in the same <br /> areas to minimize overall infrastructure improvement costs. <br /> 5. Describe selection and justification for proposed capital and non-capital improvement <br /> projects. <br /> 6. Prepare a standard cost estimating methodology that will be used to compare and evaluate <br /> project alternatives. Costs will be updated to account for changes in schedule. <br /> 7. Prepare a CIP spreadsheet or database system that can be used to describe and sort <br /> projects by date, schedule, priority, or type. Each project in the spreadsheet will be linked <br /> to a project sheet that describes the project and project justification. <br /> 8.
