The Transportation Services <br /> Director reports to the Mayor's Chief Administrative Assistant, who in turn, reports to the Mayor. <br /> The Transit Operations section is charged with the responsibility of operating public transit <br /> service on a daily basis. The other divisions support this function but provide services to other <br /> clients. For example, the Transportation Systems section provides Employee Transportation <br /> Coordinator functions for all City employees as part of the City's Commute Trip Reduction <br /> efforts. <br /> The Everett Municipal Code gives the Mayor the authority to modify service and adjust schedules. <br /> The Everett City Council has the authority to establish fares. <br /> The organization chart for the Transit Division is depicted above (Fig. 1).
