. Mr. Wayne Wenu
) - ` October 17, 1995
Page 2
Trio Generadon Estimates: Trip generation estimates for the proposed office amd townhwse
units were baged on trip generation data published in the ITE Trip Generadon mamal for land use
codes 710 and 230, respectively. The daycaze center would not generate any simcant new trips
onto the City sveet system as most participating parents would be office staff or residents of
Hope V'illage (most off-site children wouid be picked up and dropped off by te daycare's van
transportadon). The proposed development, when fully occupied, would generate approximately
290 total daily trips on an average weekday (AWDT). During the cridcal sveekday PM peak
hour, 37 trips would be generated. The trip gennation was reduced by 10 ADT and 1 PM peak
trip to account for the edsting single-family detached home. Ther'are the Hcusiog Hope llage
development would add 280 daily and 36 PM[ peak (10 inbound/'_6 oucbous11 "new" trips to
the local street system. The
proposed housing project is for low income (1/3 azea median income) and homeless people.
'ndicate hat the lower the income the closer people live to their glace of employment;
t us, many o t e tnps wou e oc c-ps generated within a few miles of tae project site.
Tmoacted Intersections and Trac Mitieation Pavments: The proposed retail development
would impact the following City of Everett (or State) intersection with ten or more peak project
trips (see Table 2). -

RAFFIC
1 00 nM5'MfQIN `
.. _ . .. .. _ .__ _ _.
