The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of ail known, available, <br /> and reasonable means of controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust <br /> generated during construction activities can be controlled by wetting those dust <br /> sourcea such as areaa of exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they leave <br /> the site, and installiny and maintaining gravel construction entrances. <br /> Construction vehicle track-out is also a major dust source. Any evidence of <br /> track-0ut can Vigger violations and fines from the Department of Ecology or the <br /> Puget Sound Air Pollution Contral, Agency. <br /> GENERAL INFORMATION <br /> 1. The Police Department has the following security rewmmendations: <br /> a. The perimeter doors shouid be solid core with 19� degree to 220 degree <br /> wide angle viewers and single cylinder dead-bolts with 1" throw and at <br /> least 3" screws securing striker plate. <br /> b. Bay windows should overlook the parking tot for increased security of <br /> vehicles. <br /> c. Sliding glass doors sho�ald have Charlie bars installed for optimum <br /> security. <br /> d. Address and apartment numbers should be in 5 inch letters and visible <br /> from the street and parking lots. <br /> e. Mailboxes should be centrally located in an area highly visible to the <br /> apartments. <br /> f. Lighting of the parking lot should be a minimum of 3-4 foot candles. <br /> g.
