Clark: In response to your application for a construction permit, your plans have been examined and you are advised that the issuance of a permit is being withheld for the reasons listed below. These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1997 Uniform Building code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or the Washington State Energy Code, 2001 edition, unless noted otherwise. This review does not cover submitted mechanical, spriniker, ekctncal or plumbing documents — these permits must be obtained separately and may require further review and submission of plans. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. 1. All occupants on the third story require access to both exits. The hallway in front of the entry to the new suite should be extended to the entrance of the exterior stairway at the S.E. comer of the building. Section 1004.2.3.2 2. The construction of the area of evacuation assistance leading to the SE comer exit stairway was a deferred submittal pending occupancy of the third story. It should now be constructed. Details should be provided. Section 1104.1 3. The toilet room directly accessed from Dr. Wong's office is allowed to be non - accessible at this time based on a standing policy by the City of Everett.
